80s gay club on elm dallas burnt down fire

DALLAS - A fire that badly damaged a downtown Dallas music club on Friday morning is believed to have been set on purpose.

Dallas after-hours nightclub Jack's House, a favorite spot for ravers, was burned to the ground by a suspected arsonist seen pouring gasoline into the club. DALLAS — A popular late-night house music club just west of Deep Ellum is no longer able to open after an alleged arson fire burned through the business early Friday.

Overnight Friday, co-owner Willie Trimmer says he was remodeling areas of the club on Elm Street, when he says he heard something in another room. Trimmer says he ran in and saw the DJ.
